The food was absolutely delicious, My favorites were the lotus starter, bhindi subji, the chilli naan and the tap beer, which was just as crisp as I expected. My family and some friends who live in Busselton recommended Hummingbird to me and it has now become one of my favorite restaurants. I’ll definitely be coming back again with more friends and family. This visit was also special because, for the first time, my seven-year-old son enjoyed a full meal by himself—he especially loved the lotus starter and the biryani. Well done and good luck to the team👍 Hummingbird is one of the best places to enjoy Indian food in Busselton. I would even suggest opening a restaurant in Perth, as I am from there and would love to visit more often. The prices were also very reasonable. Thank you again for the delicious food🙏 we will be back again.

An interesting idea morn in breakfast and the evening it becomes an Indian restaurant. We went for breakfast I had the small breakfast which was cheaper than elsewhere locally and had a better selection of ingredients I felt. Only negative I felt was that milkshake with ice cream I ordered had no visible ice cream and wasn’t very cool let alone cold.

We had the best Indian meal here for dinner. We ordered beef curry and Chicken byriani all very tasty. The staff especially the young lady served us was super friendly and helpful, I accidentally left my purse there after dinner, she waited for me to come back to get it, also kept it safe for me so I managed to get it back the next day. Overall, highly recommend to go there for any meals and support their business. Lulu

Had a lovely breakfast here yesterday, staff very welcoming friendly and attentive, perfectly poached eggs, bacon and mushrooms. Extensive menu options, will have to come back and try some of the other options. On a side note, we overheard 2 ladies who were seated close to us complain about one of the ladies breakfast, some sort of confusion about what she asked for, your staff tried to resolve in a very professional manner and we felt the way the staff were spoken to by the customer was appalling. Keep on doing a great job and please don't let people like that bring you down.

Who knew this local cafe served Indian Food? I didn’t and drove past heading to the local Chinese. We turned around when I saw they were serving dinner. New owners and it was fantastic. Delicious. Flavousome. I’ve eaten a lot of Indian in my time and this was really good. Not spicy so ask for more if you want it. We had vegetarian options. The Vegetarian sharing platter was large enough for three. The lotus root chaat was refreshing and healthy and the shahi paneer cashew creamy and rich, soaked up with great naan. Though missing lassi they have plenty of drink options. Now I’m waiting for the kulfi ice cream.

We stopped in for breakfast and were welcomed by warm smiles. We seated ourselves and ordered at the counter. They were happy to accommodate me with a vegetarian Eggs Benedict, my eggs poached perfectly. Hubby had the big brekky which he enjoyed. The staff here are absolutely lovely, the young girl who served us our meals was so polite. They must be exhausted running a breakfast, lunch and dinner menu. Will try a curry dinner when next in town.

We stopped in for dinner at Hummingbird Café in Busselton and were pleasantly surprised! At first glance, it doesn’t look like an Indian restaurant at all — more like a classy, upmarket café with a modern bar vibe — but in the evenings, it serves delicious Indian cuisine. We tried the prawn and beef curries, along with the goat curry, and all three dishes were excellent. They tasted fresh and full of homestyle flavor, not overly oily or heavy. We requested “hot,” though the spice level was quite mild, so those who prefer a fiery kick might want to ask for extra heat. The service was wonderful — friendly, attentive, and quick. The chocolate brownie for dessert was absolutely to die for — rich, fudgy, and the perfect sweet finish. The atmosphere was lovely too: quiet, tastefully lit, and elegant without feeling pretentious. Overall, Hummingbird Café is a real hidden gem in Busselton, blending stylish surroundings with authentic, home-style Indian food. Highly recommended for a relaxed and tasty dinner.
